1. What is a lithium battery PACK?

Lithium battery packs are battery assemblies composed of multiple single lithium batteries, which are used to store and release electrical energy. These single lithium batteries are connected together in series, parallel, etc. to form an overall battery system to meet the needs of different devices and systems for electrical energy.

2. Understanding lithium battery cells, lithium batteries and lithium battery packs

Lithium battery cells (cells): the most basic elements that make up battery packs and battery packs, which generally provide a voltage between 3v-4v;

Lithium battery packs (Batteries): a collection of multiple single cells to form a single physical module, providing higher voltage and capacity;

4. Lithium Battery PACK Production Process

The lithium battery pack production process usually includes the following main steps:

Raw material procurement - battery cell manufacturing - BMS production and debugging - battery assembly and testing - BMS and battery assembly - finished product inspection - packaging and delivery;

5. Characteristics of lithium battery PACK

It has complete functions and can be applied directly; the variety of types, the same application requirements can be achieved by multiple PACKs.

The lithium battery pack PACK requires the battery to have a high degree of consistency (capacity, internal resistance, voltage, discharge curve, life).

The cycle life of the lithium battery pack PACK is lower than the cycle life of a single battery.

Used under limited conditions (including charging and discharging current, charging method, temperature, humidity conditions, vibration conditions, force level, etc.)

The lithium battery pack PACK protection board is required to have a charging equalization function.

High voltage and high current battery packs (such as electric vehicle batteries and energy storage systems) require battery management systems (BMS), CAN, RS485 and other communication buses.

Lithium battery packs have high requirements for chargers, and some require communication with BMS, in order to make each battery work normally, fully exert the energy stored in the battery, and ensure safe and reliable use.
