1. Definition and function
- The lithium battery sorting and sticker machine is an automated equipment used in the lithium battery production process. It mainly integrates the sorting function and sticker function of lithium batteries.
- The sorting function is to classify lithium batteries according to different parameters of lithium batteries, such as voltage, capacity, internal resistance and other indicators. This is because in the production of lithium batteries, even batteries from the same batch will have certain differences in these parameters. Through sorting, batteries with similar performance can be grouped together to ensure the consistency of product quality.
- The sticker function is to affix corresponding identification labels to the surface of the sorted batteries. These labels contain important information such as the battery model, specifications, production date, batch, etc. This helps in the subsequent production process.
2. Working principle
Sorting part: The equipment obtains various parameters of lithium batteries through high-precision detection sensors. For example, the voltage detection sensor can accurately measure the voltage of the battery and convert the voltage signal into an electrical signal to transmit to the control system. The control system is based on the preset sorting criteria, such as setting the voltage range to 3.2 - 3.3V as a group. When the battery voltage is detected to be within this range, the battery is transported to the corresponding sorting channel through a mechanical transmission device. The internal resistance detection principle is similar. The battery internal resistance is measured using AC or DC excitation signals, and sorting is performed according to the internal resistance.
Sticker part: After the battery sorting is completed, the sticker part is entered. The sticker mechanism removes the label from the label roll through a suction cup or a mechanical clamp, and then accurately sticks the label to the specified position on the battery surface through a precise positioning system. The positioning system usually uses visual recognition technology to first take a picture of the battery surface, identify the location features where the sticker is required, and then control the sticker mechanism for precise pasting.
3. Structural composition
Feeding system: generally includes devices such as conveyor belts or vibrating plates, which are used to transport lithium batteries to be sorted and pasted in an orderly manner to the detection area of ​​the equipment.
Detection system: It consists of multiple high-precision sensors, such as voltage sensors, capacity detection circuits, internal resistance detection sensors, etc. The accuracy of these sensors is crucial to the accuracy of sorting.
Sorting system: mainly composed of a series of mechanical transmission mechanisms and sorting channels. The mechanical transmission mechanism transports the batteries to different sorting channels according to the instructions of the control system. The number of sorting channels can be designed according to the actual sorting standards and accuracy requirements. Generally, there are multiple channels to distinguish batteries with different performance parameter ranges.
Sticker system: including label supply device (such as label roll holder), label picking device (such as suction cup or clamp) and sticker positioning device (such as visual recognition and motion control mechanism). The label supply device ensures the stable supply of labels, the label picking device can accurately grab the labels, and the sticker positioning device ensures the position accuracy of label pasting.
Control system: It is the brain of the entire equipment, usually using a programmable logic controller (PLC) or an industrial computer. It receives signals from the detection system and controls the coordinated work of the feeding system, sorting system and sticker system according to the preset sorting and sticker programs. At the same time, the control system can also communicate with the host computer software to realize functions such as data storage, query and remote monitoring.
4. Application scenario
- In lithium battery production plants, it is used on large-scale lithium battery production lines. Whether it is a small consumer electronic product battery, such as a mobile phone battery, a tablet battery, or a large power battery, the use of a lithium battery sorting and stickering machine can improve production efficiency, reduce errors caused by manual operation, and ensure the stability and consistency of product quality.
